The third session of the 12th Jilin Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the third session of the 13th Jilin Provincial People's Congress opened in Changchun -- the provincial capital city on Jan 11 and 12, respectively -- with Jilin provincial CPPCC members and deputies from all over the province in attendance.

Members and deputies at the two sessions discussed achievements of the province last year and put forward their suggestions for 2020.

The provincial governor delivered the 2019 work report on the government's achievements of the past year and its new development focus in the coming year.
