The second plenary session of the third session of the 12th Jilin Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference -- the CPPCC -- was held in Changchun, capital of northeastern Jilin province on Jan 13, according to local officials.

At the meeting 12 CPPCC members put forward their opinions and suggestions from different perspectives.

These concerned the continued development and opening up of Jilin province, its rural revitalization, construction of a digital Jilin and the integrated development of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries in rural areas.

The CPPCC members expressed their own views in succession and put forward many forward-looking, targeted and achievable tips, while other members submitted written statements to the committee.

Dignitaries attending the meeting included Jiang Zelin, chairman of the CPPCC Jilin Committee; Gao Guangbin, deputy secretary of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee and Wu Jingping, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee.

Xue Kang, Zhi Jianhua, Li Longxi, Zhao Xiaojun, Cao Yuguang and Lan Hongliang -- vice chairmen of the CPPCC Jilin Provincial Committee -- and Xiao Mowen, Secretary General, also attended and listened to suggestions from the 12 CPPCC members.
