Top 10 places to see spring flowers in Beijing

2 Yuyuantan Park (cherry blossoms)

Yuyuantan Park is famous for its spring cherry blossoms. The annual Cherry Blossom Festival kicked off on March 19 and will last for one month, presenting 2,000 blooming flowers of 20 varieties. The best time to enjoy cherry blossoms is from late March to late April.

Ticket price: 10 yuan ($1.61) during the festival / 2 yuan otherwise.

Address: In the middle part of the West Third Ring Road, opposite to the CCTV Tower

How to get there: Take Bus No 37, 121, 846 to the north gate; Bus No 32, 414, 617 to the south gate; Bus No 323, 368, 374, 394 to the west gate; or Bus No 114, 320, 717, 727 to the east gate.
