10 Jietai Temple (lilac flowers)
Jietai Temple is a Buddhist temple in Mentougou district in western Beijing. Every April the temple holds a lilac festival to celebrate the springtime, showcasing a variety of lilac flowers with different colors. The best time to enjoy the flower is from April 15 to May 15.

How to get there: Take Bus No 931 or 948 to Jietaisi Station or drive from Fushi Road to Shimenying, Mentougou district, then follow the signs.
