In the first half of the year, Lijiang, Southwest China's Yunnan province received a total of 26.82 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 16.3 percent, while the total income of its tourism industry reached 52.86 billion yuan ($7.68 billion), a year-on-year increase of 6.81 percent.
