A seminar featuring Sanduo culture was held in Yulong Naxi autonomous county, Lijiang, on March 23, to welcome the upcoming Sanduo Festival.
Lijiang, a renowned tourist city in Yunnan province, has seen strong results since it began implementing its "river chief system" in June 2017.
Sanduo Festival is a grand traditional festival of the Naxi people in which they worship their ethnic patron saint "Sanduo".
Asian black bear has been raised for three years by a farmer in Lijiang, Southwest China's Yunnan province.
A street featuring 7,149 square meters of craft stores is expected to open before July 10.
Yao Jie, a 52-year-old Lijiang local, has threaded needles and sewed soles in the Old Town of Lijiang for more than 30 years.
"Culture is a major feature, as well as an advantage, of Yulong Naxi autonomous county," Cui Maohu, chief of the Lijiang municipal committee of the CPC said recently.
