Built in 1930s, the pawnshop on He Fang Street has long been out of business. But it was once packed with people who waited to mortgage their valuables for money. The Fang Hui Chun Medicine Store on the same street was opened during the early years of the Republic. It was always a welcome sight to sick people. The old well within it remains there, whose water was once used to make pills and plasters.

Wangxingji Fan Mill, of which Wangxingji Fan Industrial Co Ltd grew out, was set up by Wang Xingzhai in the year of 1875. Wangxingji Fan Mill has constructed a colorful kingdom of fans with its traditional techniques, rich varieties and luxurious quality. It is now the only old fan mill still existing in China. They offer more than 400 varieties of products in 15 categories.
