The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee announced on Jan 6, 2012 that Zhang Wenxiong will serve as Secretary of the Working Committee of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan pilot area for the "Two-Oriented" Society construction.
At the first plenary session of the 10th commission of CPC in the west Hunan Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture, He Zezhong was elected party secretary of the prefecture, and Ye Hongzhuan and Guo Jianqun were elected deputy party secretaries.
