CPC official leaves for DPRK, Laos, Vietnam visits

BEIJING - Li Jianguo, a senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC), left here Thursday for goodwill visits to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Laos and Vietnam.

Li, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, vice chairman and secretary-general of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, were invited by the DPRK's Workers' Party of Korea, the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the Communist Party of Vietnam.
