☆ Optimizing the structure of the headquarter enterprises

Among the 107 regional headquarters of multinational corporations, investment companies account for about 78.5 percent and management companies account for more than 21 percent.

A total of 70 of these regional headquarters’ parent companies are on the Fortune 500 list of top global companies.

It is home to the Asia-Pacific headquarters for global aluminum producer Alcoa, Sony Mobile Communications and the world's biggest oil producer Saudi Aramco. It is also the North Asia headquarters for ABB, Doosan and Toyota Tsusho.

The number of contractual foreign investments that exceeded $50 million reached 55, accounting for 51.4 percent of the district’s total headquarters enterprises.

The investments mainly involve bulk energy, commodity trading, mobile communications, e-commerce, information and media.

☆ More chain business in residential communities

The district called for more chain brands for retail, catering, laundry and beauty salons to open stores in residential areas.

It encouraged some large chain supermarkets such as Jingkelong to establish their own vegetable supply brand. It also encouraged agricultural product providers outside the district, including Beijing Capital Agribusiness Group and Yongqing Qingyuan, an agricultural products trading company in Beijing’s Daxing district, to ensure abundant supply of fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, meat and other foodstuffs.
