☆ Exchanges and cooperation on trade
The district organized various trade exchanges and cooperation events between domestic and foreign companies and organizations.
To echo the country's "One Belt and One Road" strategy, a new national strategy for China's opening-up to markets around the world, it keeps close touch with international organizations and commerce chambers from Central and Eastern Europe, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the ASEAN-China Center.
They launched a long-term cooperation mechanism to explore more international business opportunities and foreign trade markets for their enterprises.

The 2014 China-US Cleantech Investment Forum was held in Chaoyang district. Representatives from the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator and local Cleantech enterprises discussed Cleantech incubation and commercialization, hoping to bring in more investment projects.
☆ Promoting trade in service
As the organizer of a distribution service promotion activity at last year's Beijing Fair, Chaoyang district signed contracts worth 120.8 billion yuan ($19.7 billion), a year-on-year growth of 15.3 percent, accounting for 23.5 percent of the fair's total.
It also demonstrated the advantageous resources, such as its key function areas, headquarter economy, service sector and service trade during the event.
At the same time, it made great efforts to popularize the China International Trading Platform for Trade in Services (Tisunion.com) domestically and internationally, and urged improvement of the website’s operation.
With the support of policies, Chaoyang improved service for outsourcing enterprises in CBD and Zhongguancun’s Chaoyang Park.
In the first half of 2014, the district realized an income of $570 million on outsourcing services, accounting for more than one-third of the city’s total.
☆ Headquarter economy
Chaoyang district continues to improve the business environment for headquarter economy with better management of governmental funds for the headquarter economy and service industry.
It took the lead on the authentication standard of enterprise headquarters in China, which enriched the category of regional headquarters and boosted the development of State-owned and private headquarter enterprises.
In order to improve the communication between government and enterprises, as well as enterprises themselves, Chaoyang district hosts symposiums and lectures on policies and social media tools such as QQ groups and WeChat groups.
Now, Beijing CBD has become one of the core functional areas of high-end services and a cluster of headquarters of multinational corporations.

And the Beijing Electronics Zone Corp is growing into a headquarter base with information, business and technology enterprises.
In addition, the district is developing culture and sport, convention and exhibition, business service and tourism in its Olympic Area.
