CHONGQING -- A narcotics ring of 14 has been busted, police in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality announced on Tuesday.
Police arrested the 14 members on Monday and confiscated about 20 kilograms of drugs, 1.92 million yuan ($308,364) and three vehicles, local police said.
The drug ring was noticed by police during a national anti-drug campaign that launched in September.
Police said that drug ring had been purchasing drugs from the southwestern province of Yunnan and distributing them in several districts in Chongqing.
The case is still under further investigation.
