Controlling energy use and straightening out the energy pricing structure are key to energy conservation and reducing pollution, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said at the fifth Plenary Session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC).
China will further develop its nuclear power capacity, promote efficient use of hydroelectricity and gas, and continue to upgrade traditional industries and eliminate outdated modes of production, Wen said.
