Self-service library is shaped like a birdhouse
At first sight, you might think it is a birdhouse or a mail box, but its function is beyond your expectation.
A total of 20 outdoor book sharing boxes in the shape of a birdhouse on the campus of Guilin Medical University in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region are open to students 24 hours a day, Xinhua reported on Wednesday.
Students are expected to add a book to the box when borrowing one. More than 100,000 books have been circulated this way since the self-service library was put into use in April 2014.
