BANGKOK - Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra was admitted to hospital on Tuesday because of diarrhoea due to food poisoning, the Thai government said.
Yingluck now stays in Rama 9 hospital in downtown Bangkok and she has not canceled any schedule yet, an official at the Government House told Xinhua.
The regular cabinet meeting on the day was instead chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Yongyuth Wichaidit, focusing on the current flood situation, the government said in a news release.
