3 Blue Frog Bar & Grill, a casual dining restaurant group, is to introduce a new menu in its 24 restaurants in China that will showcase the flavors of autumn with a variety of burgers and dishes. Must-tries include Ma Po burger and M5 grade wagyu beef rib-eye steak. East meets West in Ma Po burger's flavorful 100 percent Australian beef burger that is cooked to guests' preference and topped with the Sichuan favorite Ma Po sauce along with a slice of cheddar cheese. The M5 grade wagyu beef rib-eye steak has eight-ounce Australian wagyu rib-eye char-grilled to juicy perfection and served with roasted baby potatoes and green beans.

Harvest time puts crabs on the table
4 From late this month until December is the time to harvest crabs, and Beijing Shanghai Lao Fandian, a branch of Shanghai Classical Hotel, established in Shanghai in 1875, and most famous for Shanghai-style cuisine, will offer diners hairy crab delicacies from Sept 20. All the crabs are from the breeding base the hotel established 16 years ago in Yangcheng Lake, ensuring every crab is meaty and free from contamination. The hotel's master chef Xin Guoxiang will showcase his culinary technique in cooking crabs to appease any diner's appetite for hairy crab dishes, especially with his signature dish of steamed crabs.
