Afternoon tea to charm the senses
1 Swire Hotels and the French perfume line Diptyque have together launched a treat exploring the marriage of fragrances and food. It is called the Diptyque La Collection 34 afternoon tea. The special set presents a selection of miniatures from Diptyque's signature collection, alongside a medley of sweet and savory delicacies, available at Cafe Gray Deluxe at The Upper House in Hong Kong, and Sureno at The Opposite House in Beijing. Each tea set order comes with an Art of Body Care discovery set that includes three pampering body care
and additional fragrance sample kits from Diptyque.
The Diptyque La Collection 34 Afternoon Tea costs HK$290 ($37) for one guest or HK$530 for two (subject to 10 percent service charge) in Hong Kong, or 208 yuan a set with 15 percent service charge in Beijing, both available until October 31.

2 Minzu Hotel of Beijing, together with the Embassy of Spain, is holding the third Spanish Food Festival in the hotel until Sept 27. Guests can enjoy a buffet of various dishes, such as tapas, Spanish seafood paella, roast suckling pig and Iberian ham pizza. You can buy them at 138 yuan a person for lunch and 158 yuan for dinner from the hotel via WeChat. The WeChat account also has lucky draws, and guests have the chance to win round-trip tickets for two to Spain. There are special Michelin packages at dinner each Friday, including tomato cold soup and pork cheeks, prepared by Michelin starred chef Miguel Garcia Rodriguez.
