Take a Miyun countryside ramble with us on a long walk through peaceful and sparsely populated hills, valleys and forests. This walk is quite long, but it's not difficult－there's not a lot of climbing up and down. The countryside scenery is excellent and we'll follow country trails and lanes through pine forests, cornfields, orchards, villages and farmland. Because it's one of the biggest holidays of the year, we might see extra hikers out and about, and we might get stuck in bad traffic on the way there or on the way back.

Bac-ta-gon is proud to offer From Dot to Neverland, a free children's picture book illustrating workshop, as part of its Bibliorium programming for Beijing Design Week, 2014. Designed for school-aged children, it will offer a bilingual lesson in book making and illustration based on the traditional Chinese folk tale of the Three Monks. Hosts Kyle Skor (painter-children's book author) and Stelart Wang (designer) will narrate the tale aloud in both English and Chinese.
