Plan B - The Rock'n'Soul Specialists

Two years ago, Plan B rocked Beer mania and everyone had an amazing night. They are back for their "Second Time Around" tour in China. The most ambitious tour yet for Plan B, an Adelaide based rock outfit that started in the 1980s and reformed again in 2009, the Second Time Around tour currently includes 15 booked gigs across 13 cities, including three festival appearances. In its previous "Three Steps Closer" tour in China, the band performed 10 gigs across three cities. The cities such as Shijiazhuang, Zhenjiang and Changzhou where PlanB is performing on the current tour are not well known to the West and are regarded as "villages" in the China context, but each has a population of well over 3 million people.

2014 Shane Filan You and Me Tour Live in Beijing

Chinese Dance for 12 Days

Jin Xing Dance Theatre, the first private modern dance ensemble in China, is now the leader of modern Chinese dance under the leadership of its artistic director and choreographer Jin Xing. TCA's #Invisible Exhibition of Pop Art Images

ThisCityArt is an art project created by Martin Barnes and Oak Taylor Smith in 2009 which exhibits graphic art and photographic work through non-confrontational, non-permanent one-night only pop-up exhibitions, and actively welcomes interaction from passers-by. Now five years on, TCA returns with a one-man show of Martin's new pop art inspired images. This new pop-up exhibition invites people to experience and share their artwork with their smartphones, which reflects the theme of the work - our increasing intimate relationship with our phones.

Arabic Food Festival

An Arabic food promotion will come alive at Grand Cafe of Grand Hyatt Beijing from Sept 20 to 28.

Two Arabic chefs Fawaz Al Fawair, Chef de Partie of Grand Hyatt Amman in Jordan and Bilal Mahmoud Abu Hamida, Junior Sous Chef of that Jordanian hotel had just flown to Beijing to contribute to an authentic Arabic cuisine and will both provide a wonderful dining feast for visitors.

Various Arabic delicacies ranging from hot and cold appetisers, main courses and desserts will be served from an interactive show kitchen in Grand Cafe.

Chef Leslie Chew, the executive sous chef of Grand Hyatt Beijing at Oriental Plaza highly recommends the Roasted Whole Lamb with Oriental Rice. The authentic fresh ingredients used such as local lamb will make you adore this Arabic staple.
