Childhood memories comes at a cost
A man was indulging in his childhood memories by digging clams on a reef Wednesday before he realizing that he was surrounded by rising tides, about 100 meters away from the shore, Qingdao Evening News reported.
The 50-year-old man came to Qingdao, East China's Shandong province, to "relive childhood memories", but he apparently forgot the tidal laws.
The man moved to Northeast China's Heilongjiang province with his family 40 years ago. He lived in the eastern costal city for two years when he was about 10.
The man was saved by rescuers in the end.
