A road looks much less congested than usual in Beijing on Jan 27, four days before the start of China's Spring Festival. The holiday, a time for traditional family reunions, always draws hundreds of millions of Chinese back to their hometowns each year. Beijing is the one of the top work destinations for migrant workers and other dream chasers, attracting millions of people from different parts of the country. The annual exodus leaves the city much less-populated, in sharp contrast to its normally crowded environment. [Photo/chinanews.com] |
