Yunnan tour guide contest held in Lijiang

The 2019 "Caiyun Cup Yunnan Gold Medal Tour Guide" contest was held at the Lijiang culture and tourism bureau on July 4, attracting a total of 51 tour guides from Lijiang to participate in it.

The contestants differ in age, ranging from young tour guides who have just entered the industry in the last two years to experienced tour guides who have been in the industry for 10, 20 or even 30 years.

Each contestant prepared a five-minute simulation group tour explanation about Yunnan province's 3A-level scenic spots, world heritage sites, museums, folk customs, culture, and customs.

After the contest, 12 finalists will be selected and participate in the provincial competition, which will be held in Kunming.

The contest aims to encourage tour guides to improve their knowledge and skills, as well as promote a civilized and harmonious tourism environment.
