Lijiang's tourism industry keeps growing high in Q1

Since the opening of the bullet train from Kunming to Lijiang on Jan 5, Lijiang's tourism industry has maintained high speedy growth, according to the Lijiang municipal culture and tourism bureau.

In the first quarter of this year, Lijiang received a total of 12.33 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 21.5 percent, realizing tourism revenue of 25.64 billion yuan ($3.81 billion), a year-on-year increase of 15.13 percent.
