Lijiang Sanyi International Airport was awarded as one of Civil Airports with Excellent Services in 2017 at the 3rd China Airport Service Conference in Beijing on March 29.
The conference, jointly organized by China Civil Airport Association, China Civil Aviation Science and Technology Research Institute and China Civil Aviation Press, released China's airports service quality evaluation results in 2017.
The civil airport service quality evaluation system covers passenger satisfaction, professional assessors' evaluation of passenger services, and safety services through passenger surveys and expert assessments.

In 2017, the Lijiang Sanyi International Airport received 7.107 million passengers. Currently, it has direct flights to 64 navigable cities, among which five are based in Yunnan province and seven are based in regional cities and internationally.
In recent years, the airport has been working at the construction of service brand and focusing on improving customer satisfaction. Relying on Lijiang's rich tourism resources and a thriving customer source market, it cooperates with Kunming Changshui International Airport to build a provincial flight hub within the province.
