Lijiang, a tourist city of Southwest China's Yunnan province, has put its typical tourist resources and products on stage in Foguangshan of Taiwan.
This Lijiang-themed tourist promotional conference is part of a cultural event, named "Colorful Yunnan dates Taiwan", which lasts from Feb 10 to March 18.
A total of 88 activities will be organized during the event and divided into four parts -- a Yunnan ethnic costume and intangible cultural heritage exhibition, Yunnan ethnic cultural song and dance performances, Yunnan tea friendship activities, and a Lijiang tourism promotional conference.

The Lijiang delegation introduced its tourism resources, products and tourism industry exclaiming "two mountains, one city, one lake, one river, one culture and many customs".
Dongba paintings and calligraphy were created on stage and excellent Dongba works were displayed, as were local ethnic song and dance performances, to enhance the interaction between Lijiang and Taiwan.
Li Zhaogang, deputy director of Lijiang's tourism development commission, said that through this promotion, residents of Taiwan will have a better understanding of the natural charms of Lijiang and its ancient and magical ethnic culture.
