Lijiang hosts autumn auto show

The 2017 China Lijiang Autumn Auto Show opened in Lijiang, Yunnan province, during China's National Day holiday week from Oct 1 to Oct 4.

The event gathered 30 companies and nearly 60 automobile brands, including exhibitors from Shanghai and Shenzhen whom set up a special 3,000-square-meter exhibition area.

Imported luxury sports utility vehicles (SUV) and Lamborghini sports cars were staged at the auto show, with a number of automobile companies also unveiling their new cars and automotive products.

The auto show has been held every spring and autumn since 2013. As of the end of the first half of 2017, the event has attracted over 380,000 visitors and achieved a total sales volume of 6.65 billion yuan ($1 billion).
