Lijiang's Old Town has recently stepped up its tourist services in order to welcome the peak tourism season from July to August.
The town has implemented improved parking lot regulations, equipping parking lots at major scenic spots with new intelligent management systems. The systems provide easy access for tourists without parking cards, and display the number of available parking spaces on information boards at the parking lot entrance.

Special tourist products quality inspections for flower pancakes, jade and other precious stones, gold and silver accessories and spiral seaweed are being conducted by the local government.
