After an afternoon stroll around old town, visitors can hunker down at one of the many traditional local cuisine restaurants there. When it comes to Lijiang's local cuisine, fish has to be mentioned. The running water in Lijiang's old town is rich in minerals, resulting in bigger and tastier fish.
Roast fish from Lijiang will definitely make fish lovers excited. They are crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. This cooking style keeps the original flavor of the fish.
For those who don't like to remove fish bones, roast fish is also a good choice since some of the fish bones will be removed before roasting.
