The meeting, comprised of four parts including an investment cooperation summit, welcomed over 300 representatives of tourism companies, investors and tourism cities and scenic spots from across China.
"In recent years we have been working hard on cultural heritage protection, tourism industry development and poverty alleviation," said He Liping.
She added that Lijiang uses "tourism + Internet" big data applications to deal with the management and services work.
Lijiang has also developed other industries by promoting tourism. It is now a world-renowned scenic spots and China's only entry on five noteworthy lists including world cultural heritage cities and national historical and cultural cities.
