Lijiang first to develop cultural consumption

Lijiang was named a pilot city of cultural consumption at a recent meeting of the Ministry of Culture.

It is Yunnan's only city listed as having developed the cultural consumption industry.

There are 26 pilot cities including six prefecture-level cities such as Lijiang, Luoyang and Zunyi. The meeting was held as part of the Ministry’s efforts to expand China’s cultural consumption scale and promote the industries of tourism, accommodation, catering, transportation and e-commerce.
