Lijiang makes 2014 Best Cities for the Elderly list

The Biaozhun Ranking, China Health & Senior Care Industrial Alliance and China Investment Network recently released the 2014 Best Cities for the Elderly list. Lijiang of Yunnan province made the list. It was the only place in Yunnan province to make the list.

The selection was based on the evaluation index of air quality, medical treatment, traffic and transportation. Lijiang stood out with its strength in environment and facilities.

The top 10 cities are: Zhuhai of Guangdong province, Xiamen of Fujian province, Zhongshan of Guangdong province, Guiyang of Guizhou province, Fuzhou of Fujian province, Shanwei of Guangdong province, Yangzhou of Jiangsu province, Pingxiang of Jiangxi province and Lijiang of Yunnan province.
