Airbus A319 of Lucky Air landed at Lanzhou Zhongchuan Airport at 12:10 pm on Dec 2, marking the opening of flight service between Lijiang, Minayang and Lanzhou, Xinhua.net reported.

It is the second flight route that Lucky Air has opened in Yunnan after it entered the flight market in Lanzhou, Northwest China’s Gansu province. The opening of the new flight route between Lijiang, Mianyang and Lanzhou has shortened the distance between Gansu province and the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. Lanzhou Zhongchuan Airport operates a total of 24 airlines connecting 59 cities.

The Lijiang-Mianyang-Lanzhou flight route will be operated every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. On the Lanzhou to Lijiang route, the plane will start from Lanzhou at 12:10 pm, stop in Mianyang and then arrive in the destination of Lijiang at 3:40 pm. On the Lijiang to Lanzhou route, the plane will start from Lijiang Airport at 8:20 am, stop at Mianyang and then arrive in Lanzhou at 11:30 am.

The operation of the Lanzhou-Mianyang-Lijiang flight route will help open the flight and air parcel market in Lanzhou. Also, it will promote cooperation between Yunnan and Gansu province in different industries, including culture and tourism, constructing an “air bridge” between the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and Gansu province.
