Hotel Indigo Lijiang wins Best Interior Design Award

The Hotel Indigo Lijiang branch in Lijiang ancient town of Southwest China’s Yunnan province won the Best Interior Design Award of the 11th Golden-Pillow Award of China Hotels.

It’s the ninth awards Indigo Lijiang has won since it opened. The hotel embraces a theme of the ancient Tea-Horse Caravan Trail, constructing a stylish and friendly environment for customers.

Indigo Lijiang is located in the South Gate of Lijiang Dayan ancient town, which is a World Heritage Site. The interior design and decoration of the hotel masterly combines modern characteristics with local ethnic customs.

The Golden-Pillow Award of China Hotels was jointly founded in 2004 by 21st Century Business Herald and Business Travel. The award aims to review the five-star hotels in China from various angles. Every year, about 400 to 500 five-star hotels will join the award evaluation.

Indigo Hotel is a chain of boutique hotels and part of IHG (InterContiental Hotels Group). Indigo Lijiang is the fifth branch to open in China and it is the first high-tech boutique hotel in Lijiang.
