Lijiang ancient town held the second Teenager Naxi Culture Week activities from Oct 27-31, Xinhua.net reported. Almost 3,000 teenagers attended the activities and experienced Naxi folk customs. During the activities, teenagers also learned to cook Naxi cake, a traditional Naxi food.

The activities aim to publicize Naxi culture and customs. According to Mu Yuntao, secretary of the Communist Youth League Lijiang committee, the culture activities have promoted communication between teenagers from different ethnicities. Teenagers will have a stronger ethnic identity and a sense of pride through the activities.
