Lijiang holds Quality Month theme activities

Lijiang held Quality Month theme activities in September to strength quality awareness, Lijiang Daily reported.

Lijiang’s quality supervision department organized diversity activities in regard to Lijiang’s conditions that month.

The quality supervision department focused on serving companies and actively organized Lijiang’s first Quality Management Award application preparation work. The department also spent a whole day providing training in quality management and safety standards in a local Lijiang company. Altogether, more than 500 pieces of learning material were delivered to staff members from that company.

Constructing the chief quality officer (CQO) management model was also an important activity that month. The quality supervision department organized relative training sessions for more than 80 staff members from 27 companies. Wang Tiedan, director of the quality development department in Kunming University of Science and Technology, came and lectured in the training sessions. If the staff members can pass the exam after the training sessions, they can work as a chief quality officer.
