New Kunming to Lijiang rail service to open

According to the Kunming railway bureau, a high-quality train service linking Kunming to Lijiang will open on Sept 12, Xinhua.net reported.

All the crew members will receive training sessions in English, customer service and Lijiang tourism information.

In the Kunming Railway Station, a tea room is used as the waiting room for passengers of these train lines. In the business waiting areas, drinks, tissues and free Wi-Fi will be provided.

In the Lijiang Railway Station, special administrative services including customer guidance will be provided. Maps, bandages and electronic chargers will also be available in the waiting room to travelers. The newly-opened train services are the Kunming-Lijiang intercity trains K9682/3, K9684/1, K9686/7 and K9688/5.
