Lijiang Journalists' Association elections held

The second elections for Lijiang Journalists' Association were held on July 15, electing president, vice president, secretary-general, executive director and director of the association, Xinhua.net reported.

"With the support of Lijiang, journalists have made big efforts to create a good media environment. The development of Lijiang is a testament to journalists' intelligence and efforts," said Jiang Yong, an official in Lijiang.

According to Jiang, establishing a new plan for training journalists, along with management techniques and modern media technology, is important. Training sessions, lectures and rotations will be organized to improve journalists' professional abilities.

Lijiang Journalists' Association is a non-profit social organization of news media in Lijiang.
