Lijiang participates in China Intl Collection Culture Expo

Lijiang is set to be the only representative city of Yunnan province at the first China International Collection Culture Expo (CICCE), which will be held in Beijing from Sept 26 to 29.

The expo is jointly organized by the China National Philatelic Corporation and the China International Trade Centre, and it will feature stamps, currencies, antiques, porcelain, calligraphy, paintings, badges, and also collections related to sports, from home and abroad.

The expo will deepen collectors' understanding and appreciation of their various areas of interest, and improve communication between Chinese and international collectors.

The Old Town of Lijiang was inscribed in UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1997.
