Art exhibition to focus on the beauty of Yunnan

An art exhibition with the theme "charming Yunnan", which aims to highlight the beauty of Yunnan through artistic expression and creation, will open free of charge to the general public on Sept 27 at the Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center, xinhuanet.com reported.

The six-day exhibition will focus on the natural landscape, ethnic and cultural customs, and the development of towns and cities of Yunnan.

Lai Qingguo and Duan Guoliang, the only national-level experts of fine arts and craft in the province will make an appearance and present their latest works.

Yunnan Arts University and many overseas institutions, including the UK's University of Huddersfield and Sheffield Hallam University and Burapha University in Thailand, will also participate in the event.
