Lijiang municipal government and the new Kunming Small and Micro-Sized Enterprises Financial Service Center signed a cooperation agreement at a symposium on the development of finance and tourism, which was held in Lijiang on August 13.
The new financial service center is a private institution under the supervision of the financial office of the Yunnan provincial government, and it aims to offer financial services for small and micro-sized enterprises.
Lijiang municipal government has been building financial service platforms and improving the environment of financial development in recent years, and many financial institutions are providing new financial services specially designed for small and micro-sized enterprises.
More than 4,700 bars and stores in Lijiang are seeking financial support, thus requiring new sources of financing and different approaches, and this led the authorities to establish the new financial service center .
Zhang Weiguo, vice mayor of Lijiang, said that the center would help retain local capital and at the same time attract new capital from other developed regions of the country, which could in turn accelerate the development of local small and micro-sized enterprises.
