A total of seven project contracts, with a total investment of 5.1 billion yuan ($ 831.3 million), were signed during a promotional event for investment in the highland agriculture of Lijiang, which was held in Shanghai from July 17 to 20.
The seven projects of specialty agriculture include growing and processing agricultural products, such as lily, olives, rose, maca and mangoes, and commercial farm building projects.
During the first half of the year, a total of 180 new projects were launched in Lijiang, with prepaid investment reaching about 14 billion yuan ($ 2.28 billion).
