The city of Lijiang held its forth lottery draw using maintenance toll receipts in its conference center on July 6.

The Old Town of Lijiang Protection Authority provides strong financial support for the conservation of the Old Town with a series of measures including collecting a maintenance toll, launching a real-name registration system for the maintenance toll, building an electronic information system for the toll and holding a lottery twice a year.

The lottery for maintenance toll receipts has been held twice a year since July 2011, and the draw is carried out by a computerized system.

Xueshan Notary Office supervised the process, and 10 winners were drawn from a computer system out of a total of 1,895,540 receipts. Each winner is set to receive a prize of 200,000 yuan ($32,100), and all the results were announced on the Old Town of Lijiang Protection Authority website (http://www.ljgc.gov.cn), and by Yunnan Information Daily, Lijiang Daily and Lijiang TV.
