Airlines gather in Lijiang

Lucky Air opened four direct air routes including Nanjing–Lijiang, Changsha–Lijiang, Chengdu–Lijiang and Guiyang–Lijiang on July 1, 2013. Currently Lucky Air is promoting a ticket price discount for the four air routes.

Apart from Lucky Air, Capital Airlines and Kunming Airlines also opened their new Lijiang air routes starting July 1. Meanwhile, Shanghai Juneyao Airlines also entered the aviation market in Lijiang and launched its daily flight for Shanghai–Changsha–Lijiang.

The airlines believe the aviation market in Lijiang is full of great development potential. Based on the good growth in tourism, at present, 31 regular air routes from 23 airlines are being operated in Lijiang. Lijiang's airport now boasts the largest air route network in Yunnan province.
