On July 13, Wu Qingyou, chairman and general manager of the Taiwan-based Eslite Bookstore, met with Hangzhou government officials.

Opening a branch of Eslite bookstores in Hangzhou was the main topic of their discussion. Jack Ma, CEO of the Alibaba Corporation, who felt a homey environment in the bookstore, contributed to the cooperation.

Eslite Bookstore, a well-known chain of bookstores in Taiwan, has now become a famous culture brand all over the world.
