“UFO” landing at Xixi Wetland

2009-September-3 14:08:30

Covering an area of 20,100 M2, the museum was constructed based on an improved design from the massive blue print by Japanese architectural master Isozaki Arata. It faces Xixi Wetland Park on the west, the main entrance of Xixi Wetland on the east, Yanshan River on the south, and the Xixi tourist center and shopping district on the north. The museum is perched on a green hill with small, sunken areas allowing access to light and air on the hill’s surface.

The museum is currently being decorated and quickly preparing to have everything complete for its grand opening during the upcoming National Day holiday.
