Are Chinese selfish?
Somebody suggested in an above thread that "a good number of the islanders in Taiwan don't want to be part of China", and deemed that we mainlanders are "selfish" because we refuse to let the island go. my answer is: when national unity and security, the ultimate goal and glory of a people, is concerned, you cannot judge it by "selfish" or "selfless".

Mr. Deng Xiaoping was very right and also a prophet to suggest in 1984 that, after Hong Kong comes back to the embrace of china in 1997 from 99 years of British colonial rule, that only Chinese patriots would be allowed to fill in the top slogs of Hong Kong's governance.
