Foreign ballet troupes light up Beijing stage

Louis Robitaille, art director of the troupe, gave a lecture on Wednesday afternoon to Beijing ballet fans and some middle school students. He explained the artistic style of the troupe and their ballet works in detail, and introduced the situation of art education in Canadian elementary and secondary schools.

"Through our after school lectures, we found lots of diamonds in the rough to our surprise. Lots of adults without any dancing skills fell in love with dance as well. Next time, if we have the chance to visit Beijing again, I'll give a longer lecture right here to more locals. We may dance together then," he said.
