Supported by wires, three professional dancers give a spectacular performance on the outside wall of a building in Chongqing, Southwest China on May 9, 2014.
With wires attached to pulley systems and after hours of practice, dancers created the illusion of flying and defying gravity.
As part of the Sino-French festival, this particular aerial dance wowed hundreds of spectators.
According to the lead dancer Francisco, their dance is called “Vertical Environment,” where the dancers confront each other, the wall, and the void, illustrating the relation that exists between the body, architecture and the wall.
