Drama comes to historical area

Story of Wukong, a drama that reinterprets the Monkey King tale Journey to the West, will be staged at the West Theater of Beijing from Dec 13 to Jan 5. It will also be the first play performed at the theater, located at the Huguo Xintiandi, a new mall in the historical area of Huguo Temple that aims to be a new cultural and tourist attraction of Beijing. The Huguo Temple Street has a history of 800 years and is famous for snacks and old Beijing flavor. Located at the central point of the street, the Huguo Xintiandi mall also offers restaurants of Chinese and international cuisines, and a teahouse, a bar and a hotel.
