Ghaffar Pourazar will stage a live performance and multi-media experience with a Broadway twist at Xiao Ke Theater, along with International Center for Beijing Opera's performers and musicians.
Pourazar, dubbed "China's English Monkey King" by Asian Wall Street Journal, has gone through two decades of joy and tragedy in Peking Opera training. He has devoted his life to mastering Peking Opera monkey magic.
The group will sing, act, dance, paint their faces, fight and perform while giving explanations to help audiences understand the traditional art of Peking Opera.
